Thank you so much for all this hard work - well done for opening up the debate on what else the market place can be used for.
ReplyDeleteHowever, it would be good if this process could be a consultation and 'brain storm' for other suggestions rather than just voting on those put forward.
The clear message coming across is that another supermarket is NOT wanted. However, some commercially viable project does need to take its place.
I would therefore like to make the suggestion of having part of the site dedicated to factory shops (designed in sympathy with Tenbury's existing old architecture!) a sort of (very!) mini Bicester with some reasonably good quality outlets, perhaps with locally owned companies like The White Company, Tyrwhitts, LK Bennett, or companies like Mulberry etc. Ie. shops that would not take trade away from the existing shops but would bring more people in to Tenbury.
